We aim to promote a sense of community in City Park and one way to achieve this is to focus on connecting to each other block by block. We’ve developed Block Party Toolkits to encourage you to plan your own! Toolkits are available to anyone in the city who’d like to host a block party. Here’s some information:
- The CPCA will cover the block party permit cost for the first five blocks to sign up
- Send your block party request to: cityparkcommunity@gmail.com
- Info on how to obtain a permit from the city: https://www.saskatoon.ca/community-culture-heritage/neighbourhoods-community-associations/block-parties
- Included in the toolkits: reusable plastic plates, cups, cutlery, and garbage bags; tablecloths; Block Party sign; Icebreaker games for kids and adults; and sidewalk chalk and games for kids.
